Pastor Sherita L. Smith is the founder and Senior Pastor of Healing Hearts Worship Center located in Clinton, Maryland.

 

In 2005, God inspired Pastor Sherita L. Smith during a time of worship and prayer to form a local Church, therefore birthing the vision for Healing Hearts Ministries. Pastor Sherita then wrote the vision, submitted the vision and began to walk out the vision. Pastor Sherita L. Smith was consecrated, ordained, and released into the five-fold Office of a Pastor on July 24, 2010, and established Healing Hearts Ministries in Suitland, Maryland. For several years Pastor Sherita and her faithful few labored and evangelized in the Suitland area and the assembly began to grow.

Pastor Sherita is also the founder of Preach Pretty Preach Power, which serves as a platform for developing God's people to boldly establish there stance on God’s word and to be consistent in the power of God. Through her personal testimony and prophetic gift, God has anointed Pastor Sherita to speak directly into the lives of many. From this, broken hearts have been healed, marriages have been restored, and women have been set free from abuse, shame, pain, doubt, heartache, and fear.

Additionally, Pastor Sherita is the founder of her own Designing Firm, Sherita's House of Intemporal Designs, which provides individuals with style, interior designs, and event planning resources to empower them to look their best, feel their best, and live their best lives according to God’s Word!

Through the leading of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, she encourages the people of God to become Christ like. She believes that "when we unmask ourselves we then give God something to work with." She believes GOD is calling us to meet Him at the well, so we can get well and become a well for someone else to drink from.

Pastor Sherita firmly believes that the Heart of GOD is SOULS; and her ministry is best accurately described in Isaiah 61:1,2

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek, he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
